Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps you to understand the connection between your thoughts/ thinking, emotions/feelings and actions/behaviours. These impact your beliefs about yourself, your environment and others. CBT can help you to uncover and implement strategies to improve your mindset by targeting negative, irrational and unhelpful thoughts that keep you from living your best life. CBT is most effective for someone who commits to taking practical steps to change their behaviours and beliefs.
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps individuals recognize and express their emotional needs more effectively. It fosters secure attachments and encourages healthier, more constructive responses to loved ones.
- Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) assists couples in building strong, healthy relationships by exploring and transforming emotional dynamics to enhance mutual understanding and intimacy.
- Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) helps individuals process their emotions and develop more secure attachments.
- Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) aids in repairing and creating sustainable familial bonds.
Dialectal Behaviour Therapy
DBT works best for clients struggling with emotional regulation and self-harming behaviours. It improves emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal communication, and mindfulness practices. Proven to be effective with clients struggling with PTSD, interpersonal conflicts, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, etc.
Trauma-Focused CBT & Trauma-Informed
Trauma-informed support does not require individuals to disclose specific details about their trauma. Instead, it focuses on creating a safe and empowering environment to help understand the impact of trauma on mental health. The goal is to develop healthy coping strategies and foster positive relationships.
Trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT) does involve sharing trauma details. It helps you to face the negative impacts of trauma through processing traumatic memories, addressing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, and developing effective coping skills. TF-CBT includes components such as psychoeducation, relaxation strategies, emotional expression and regulation, cognitive coping and processing, trauma narrative development, in vivo exposure, enhancing personal safety, and future planning.
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
SFT is a strength-based, goal-oriented, short-term approach that helps you find solutions for your current problems. It helps you to create and clarify your vision for your future and to uncover your strengths and the tools needed to achieve your goals.
Dyadic Development Psychotherapy (DDP)
DDP supports families to develop healthy relationships, interactions, and communication habits that promote emotional safety and attachment. Specifically, parents are supported with parenting skills rooted in the P.A.C.E. principle, which helps support their youths to explore the impacts of trauma, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, and more.
Narrative Therapy (NT)
NT helps you to re-tell your story to help you practice self-compassion, develop a positive identity and walk in self-discovery. You will uncover hidden skills, strengths, and values to support finding meaning and purpose. You are seen as the expert of your life, and your problems do not define your identity and your future.
